Netiquette: for all the Internet users
I have learned so many things about Netiquette. First of all, I have learned about the meaning of etiquette and what Netiquette stands for; Secondly, I have learned about the rules, kinds, types and examples of Netiquette; Lastly, I have learned the meaning of newbies, meaning new users, flaming, meaning insulting interaction between Internet users, lurking, meaning reading the discussion and keeping it as a secret or not exposing it to the public.
There are two classifications of netiquette: the Netiquette Basics and the Netiquette of Sending. The four basic rules of netiquette are summarized below:
- Help the "newbies"
- Research before asking
- Remember emotion
- People aren't organizations
These rules should always be followed. Netiquette of sending is classified into three:
Be Brief, you should send messages briefly, so that your message will not be tiring to read; Netiquette of Replying, examine your message first before sending it; and Netiquette of Confidentiality, be confident always and respect everybody.
